Stages involved in the furniture fitting process

When you have decided to have fitted bedroom furniture installed into one or more of the rooms in your house, it is important to have some idea of the installation process and what each stage actually entails. This article is intended provide some insight into this process so that you will know what to expect after contacting a team of furniture fitters.

Assessing the room and drawing up plans

The first stage in the process involves assessing the room. Someone representing the team of fitters will come and look at the rooms you want kitted out. They will have a look at your rudimentary plans and suggest ways to make them even better. Then they will go away with a complete set of measurements and some official plans.

Installing the furniture

Your bespoke furniture will be manufacturer and then brought around to the house ready to be built into the room on the date you have agreed upon. Depending on the size of the job, there may only be one fitter or there could be a team. The team will endeavour to fit the furniture as quickly as possible leaving you with fitted bedroom furniture that is ready to be used right away.
